The new Cow Pasture, of course, has to have some good ol’ fashioned Quests attached to it, right? What new Animal Building would be complete without them, y’know? Here is the skinny on all of the new Cow Pasture Quests.
Step 1: Start off by asking your friends for those six Cow Treats. When you click on the button, you will be taken to the publish screen to send a request out through your Facebook feed. With how crappy the new Facebook feed is, let’s hope your friends actually see it! Yeeeah, high-five for slammin’ Facebook! You’ll also need to harvest 100 Grain Crops, so you can sort your Crop Tabs to Grain in order to see what qualifies. Finally, place that Cow Pasture on your farm to complete the first Quest.
You’ll get some XP and Coins for accomplishing this task, and a Red Heart Cow for good measure.
Step 2: The second portion of the Cow Pasture Quests involves something that a lot of you will despise, as we certainly do. Harvest 30 plain Cows? Really? We don’t even own a plain Cow anymore. Buying 30 will remove a ton of space on your farm, so maybe just buy 15 and do it over the course of two days, maybe? The choice is yours. You will also have to post another Facebook feed request for six Cow Tethers. Remember to search through your Facebook feed in order to help your neighbors with this, too, as you will receive one yourself for helping out your friends. Finally, you’ll need to buy two Cow Topiaries for 300 Coins each.
Upon completion, you will receive more XP and Coins, as well as a new Gray Yak. Remember, Yaks can produce babies now, too.
Step 3: Start this one off by asking your friends for those six Salt Licks via the Facebook feed. Are these things soap on a rope or something? We kid, but seriously, that soap must smell funky. The second objective of this one is to complete your Cow Pasture, which you should have done by now with the help of our handy How-to on the subject. Finally, you will need to purchase three green Hay Bales for 125 Coins each on the Market.
XP and Coin bonuses will greet you upon completion, in addition to the adorable Black Shorthorn Cow.
Step 4: Things begin to ramp up with the Cow Pasture Quests, as you will need a whopping nine of the Cow Collars that you can send a request out to Facebook land in order to obtain. This may not sound like a lot, but it’s a big step up from the standard six. You can ask once every six hours for more. You’ll also need to blow through 125 Strawberry Crops, which only take four hours and should be easy enough. You’ve probably already reached the first level of Mastery for the standard Cow by now, what after harvesting 30 of them and all.
After completing the fourth Quest, you will be greeted by even more XP and Coin bonuses, not to mention some Animal Feed.
Step 5: You will want to start off by immediately clicking that button for the nine Milk Buckets, which will send a request to your Facebook feed. We dislike these “ask for way too many” objectives due to how hard it is to find new stories on the new Facebook. Frankly, it sucks. Expect to harvest 150 Vegetable Crops, and remember that vague objectives like this mean that you CAN use Super Crops as a part of them. Finally, you’ll need to harvest your Cow Pasture once in order to complete the objective.
Rewards will come in the form of XP and Coin bonuses, as well as the Gray Jersey Cow. This one is also adorable.
Step 6: Sometimes, it’s okay to let the final Quest slip away into the ether. This is not the case, as the reward is AWESOME and you will want it. Start out by asking for your final beg-a-thon, nine Brass Cow Bells. What, are the Cows too special for normal Cow Bells to the point that they’re requesting Brass ones? Silly Cows. Next up, you’ll want to plant 150 Fruit Crops, which can be done swiftly by using Raspberries in two hours flat, or (Super) Strawberries in four hours. Finally, place ten Cows inside of your Cow Pasture to complete the Questing for the Building.
You will get the amazing B0V1N3-11 for completing the Quest, as well as those XP and Coin bonuses.
